Coaching day Singapore 20.11.

Coaching day Singapore 20.11.

20th of November, 9:00-12:00

Singapore has one of the most open economies with virtually no tariffs on most agri-food products except for alcoholic beverages and tobacco. It continues to be one of the most developed food markets in Southeast Asia. It has one of the highest standards of living in Southeast Asia with high disposable incomes. With very little  agricultural land on the island, it is very dependent on imported food and beverage, resulting in higher expenditure on food products compared to neighbouring countries. Singapore imports more than 90% of its food products.

Recognised as a trendsetter and an important gateway to the region, Singapore tends to be a strategic entry point for key exporters who are looking to tap into the vast regional markets. The pro-business environment and ease of doing business has also contributed significantly to the boom in trade activity in the city state.

In order to shed light on the Singaporean food market, its structure, opportunities and how to best approach it, Food from Finland arranges a half-day coaching day and optional individual advisory meetings in Helsinki. The event is free of charge and is led by our partner consultant, Lim Hock Chye, Founder and Director at FinnBIZ Consultancy.
The seminar is taking place on November 20, 2018 during 09.00-12.00, lunch break (at own cost) is at 12.00-12:50 and the pre-booked individual advisory meetings (20 min each) will take place in the afternoon. The deadline for registrations is November 13.
